An attachment makes the difference last
CJC-1295 half life is the time for half to leave blood
Puffy fingers tell you little about how much compound remains in blood. The form with the DAC attachment leaves slowly, and its blood-test effects can last days.
The short answer on CJC-1295 half life is days to lose half
Swelling gives you no clock for a shot's action in blood. CJC-1295 half life measures how long blood takes to lose half the compound [1].
The study involved healthy adults, so the findings don't settle your own risks. The form with the DAC attachment took days to lose half.
The liver produces a protein involved in body tissue growth after growth hormone rises. Repeated shots left that protein above its starting amount up to 28 days [1].
A different protein already in blood holds the added DAC attachment [2]. That blood protein remains for days and carries the attached compound along.
Four changed parts also protect the copy from breaking down quickly [7][8]. One change is at part 2, counted from one end of the chain.
Without DAC, those changes remain, but no blood protein holds an added attachment. The unattached form leaves much faster, in minutes or hours.
Researchers measured single shots and repeated shots given under the skin. The timing explains a long stay, without proving that you gain better health.
CJC-1295 with DAC left blood readings raised after shots
CJC-1295 follow-up checks came from more than one study
The findings below concern the attached DAC form, not the short-acting form. After repeated shots, the protein made after growth hormone rose stayed raised up to about 28 days [1].
Modified GRF 1-29, which has no DAC, leaves in a matter of minutes or hours [8][9]. That form has no attachment to keep the compound around for days.
Day 0: Growth hormone rose 2- to 10-fold, from double the starting amount to ten times that amount [1]. The usual bursts of release from the gland continued [3].
Day 7: In another study, the growth hormone average remained about 46% higher [3]. Body weight set the single-shot amount: 60-90 micrograms per kilogram.
The first study also measured higher readings of the protein the liver produced afterward [1]. The blood readings show continued action, but can't promise you stronger muscles.
Day 28: The repeated-shot study reported raised protein readings at this later check [1]. The quoted finding doesn't specify whether the count starts with the first or last shot.
That missing timing detail prevents a firm claim about time after shots stopped. Without DAC, no protein attachment keeps the compound around to give that prolonged effect [8].

The changed copy resists the rapid breakdown of the natural hormone
The early studies tested blood changes, not treatment of aching joints. Enzymes, proteins that help chemical tasks happen in blood, break down the natural hormone [8].
Growth hormone release normally starts when that natural hormone reaches the gland. In healthy men, researchers measured the hormone's brief stay in blood [10].
Researchers changed part 2 of the copy's chain to resist that breakdown [7]. The changed copy lasted longer and gave a stronger prompt to release growth hormone.
Those changes helped the copy last minutes to hours, rather than leaving quickly. The changes alone didn't keep the copy in blood for days.
Researchers also tested an added substance to make hormone copies last longer [12]. With CJC-1295, joining a protein in blood gave the much longer stay [2].
The changed parts slow breakdown; the attachment carries the compound around for days. Removing the attachment therefore changes the duration, even when the four changed parts remain.
A long-lasting CJC-1295 blood change is no promise of health gains
CJC-1295 timing findings leave strength and sleep claims unanswered
The human studies measured hormones, with the gland's usual bursts still occurring [3]. The attached form affected blood readings across days [1], without proving lasting health gains.
No long comparison study in healthy adults has checked those hoped-for gains. Such a study compares groups receiving different treatments or no active drug.
A higher blood reading doesn't show that your muscles became stronger. The studies didn't establish gains in strength, recovery, fat loss, or lifespan [1].
CJC-1295 still has no approved human use, despite those higher hormone readings. The findings therefore give you no tested course of shots.
